Social Responsibility Policy (CSR)

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the ongoing commitment by an organisation to behave morally and to contribute to economic development and improving the quality of life of the workforce, as well as society at large.

The CSR of Princessfashionhouse.com is the duty of care that the company has for its stakeholders in all aspects of its operations. This duty of care goes beyond mere statutory obligation to comply with legislation and encompasses the social, environmental and ethical issues that its business activities will impact upon.

The CSR of Princessfashionhouse.com is closely linked with the principles of sustainable development, with our CSR policy going well beyond charity to take into full account our impact on all stakeholders as well as the environment when making decisions. This requires a balance between the needs of all stakeholders and the needs of the organisation to make a profit.

For this reason, it is the mission of Princessfashionhouse.com to actively promote members to prospective employers and buyers whilst at the same time ensuring that all members and employers are legitimate and genuine, through overseeing and regulating all conduct that occurs as a result of the website and all other marketing activities. The main reason for this is the safety of our members who range from 14 years of age upwards.

As a result, Princessfashionhouse.com takes a holistic approach to business regarding our stakeholders as partners in this initiative to uphold our CSR.

In accordance with this CSR, the head company, Princess Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd, has been involved with numerous charities, contributing donations and 'good works' in the past to organisations including:

- No Strings Attached Theatre of Disability (Drama Queens)
- Variety Club
- The Cancer Council South Australia

- SCOSA (Spastic Centres of South Australia)

Princess Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd supported and coordinated the 'Girls Night In' fundraising event on 25th October 2006, which was held for the benefit of The Cancer Council of South Australia. This event is the organisation's greatest example of their CSR, with the event raising $12,000 for women's cancer research.

Princess Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd also encourages employees to take part in community work for the purpose of creating and enhancing the company's culture and brand.
