Myrabella

Myrabella is the name of my brand and my daughter. The idea started in 2004 but did not become a reality until 2006. I was always interested in fashion though I never went to school for designing but because of my God given talent, ability and faith I knew I could do whatever I set my mind on. My first attempt at a Myrabella bag was when I decided to surprise one of my sisters on her birthday. Although, I was not expecting any type of reaction however, I could not believe the response that I received. From that moment, without a doubt, I knew Myrabella handbags would become something very special.

Of course every designer thinks that their idea is better than the next designer. As for me, I definitely think I have something different. I want people to know that Myrabella is not just a brand name; it is very much a part of me. It is my baby in which I poured my heart into I gave birth to, with my hands.

It is always difficult when starting something from scratch and especially if no one knows who you are. Yet, I believe Myrabella has something special to offer because of the uniqueness in every design. My vision for Myrabella handbags is grand. Slowly but surely, I am working my way to making my vision a reality.
Almost all the names of the styles are named after people I know. And the most interesting part is whenever I sketch a new design, I try to make the design fit the person’s personality. And once I name the design, I would call that person and offer her to be the first to own that style. And it always turns out to be a hit.

I used Denim, Canvas, Upholstery, leather, as well as PVC Leather. Myrabella bags are unique in style, and because they are custom made, no Myrabella bag is ever the same and I understand that everyone has different taste in both color and style. The special touch that goes into the bag just to differentiate one from another though the style may be the same really makes the bag unique. I use all kinds of things that I can think of, such as using stitches that normally would not be in a bag, stones, beads, buttons anything that will make it stand out and unusual.

Of course every designer thinks that their idea is better than the next designer. As for me, I definitely think I have something different. I want people to know that Myrabella is not just a brand name; it is very much a part of me. It is my baby in which I poured my heart into I gave birth to, with my hands.

At this point, people are getting to see my craft. And I truly say, as a designer, I am getting better with every design. It is my hope to get a broader audience but I know in time people will know about Myrabella handbags. Every designer waits for the day when they can see the fruit of their labor and I believe my day is coming soon when Myrabella will become the brand of choice; that will be most gratifying.
